Service Department

Service is one of the most important aspects of our business here at Cycle Loft.

That's why we have invested so much into our Service Department, and continue to invest in equipment and training for our service staff.  We have mechanics who are certified by Barnett Bicycle Institute, Park Tool School, Shimano, Sram University and Specialized Bicycle Components University.  In addition, every mechanic participates in an intensive ongoing in-house training program that keeps him or her up to date on all the latest technical advances in bikes, components, and accessories.

If you have a question on anything related to the function or performance of your bike, we can answer it. And when you need service, from scheduled maintenance to a complete overhaul, a simple flat repair or a custom handbuilt wheel -- we can handle it!

Some of the services we provide:

• Complete evaluation and estimate of repair cost while you wait.
• Appointments available for 36-48 hour turn-around, please call 781-272-0870 or email ride@cycleloft.com
• Most repairs are completed within 3 business days or less, please call for updated turnaround time that can flucuate.
• Environmental Fee: $5 is added to all tune-ups. This fee allows for the proper disposal of all hazardous materials used during a tune-up.

Standard Tune-Up - $80 (Tandem - $90, BMX/Single Speed - $50, 3-9 speed Internal Hub - $55) * 

Full Tune-Up - $115 *

Super Tune-Up - $135 *

The Works Tune-Up - $250 *

* A $5 shop supply, hazardous material and environmental fee applies to all tune-ups

Professional Bike Builds *

BMX Bike with Cycle Loft Parts- $80

Custom Mountain Bike with Cycle Loft Parts- $150 (add $50 for hydraulic disc brakes)

Custom Road / Triathlon Bike with Cycle Loft Parts- $150 (may be an additional fee for bicycles with internal cable routing)

Tires

Install New Tire and/or New Tube- $14 per tire 

Wheels

Custom Wheel Build - $80 each

Custom Specialty Wheel Build (i.e. Powertap wheel, etc.)- $100 each

True Wheel and/or Replace Spoke(s)- $10 - $50 each

Box Bike for Shipping- $50 (Cycle Loft prefers to not ship bikes on behalf of customers. We have found UPS to be the most affordable carrier. Please refer to ups.com for further information and rates)

Box Bike Shipping Processing Fee- $25

Crash Assessment and/or Insurance Claim Estimate- $35

Cut Lock Affixed to Bike Frame- $15

Disassemble Bike for Frameset Warranty/Repair Shipping- $60
